What I wanted to express with this project has been the reflection of China's traditions in an element of everyday life, a cup for coffee.
Its shape transports us directly to the rural world, with lines that remind us of bamboo and an ergonomic shape that does not compromise its classic and minimalist aesthetics.It is made of two pieces, the base is made of wood and the top piece of ceramic.
It has been designed for the Solonia art center brand, located in Suzhou, China.
